best episode of battlestar i've seen (i've only seen like 7 though)

mood: touched touched
music: the decemberists

i thought battlestar galactica was about space
battles and stuff but it's actually not. i did not expect it to be
this cheesy. so i was watching an episode last night, and the main
characters were having a boxing competition and this guy and this girl
are going at each other... and from time to time it showed flashbacks
of how they liked each other for a long time but went out with
different people. and then they finally get together one night, but
the next day the girl just marries her boyfriend and the main
character is pissed, so he like goes and also marries his girlfriend.
and so them two are kicking the shit out of each other and they get
tired and punch lighter and lighter and in the end just kind of hang
on to each other and then tell how much they missed each other. i
mean, that was kind of predictable. what's interesting is the
respective wife and husband of the two are watching this, and even
before the fight is over, they look at each other sadly and start
slowly walking away from the boxing ring. i am thoroughly
disappointed. it seems like you can't even get a decent sci-fi show
nowadays without all this love crap. god, i miss the cold war.

....just kidding. this was the best episode i've seen so far, only comparable to firefly's "out of gas" episode.

btw, it's called "unfinished business"

Bitching about life is boring

But I'm sad now. Just sad. :-(
And happy at the same time. :-/

It feels like parting with an old friend -- there is a little melancholy, but at the same time the realization of the profoundness of the whole situation. Maybe I am too emotional about it, but whatever. A friendship is a friendship regardless, and only time will show what really happens. Letting someone go is hard, but there is always the hope that the person will be happy.

I wish I could go five-ten years into the future and see where we all are.

Enough of this deeply emotional psychological crap. Let's just see what happens. But I still wish time was going faster.
